70 x 190 cm to refresh your lounger cushion

MALO measures 70 x 190 cm. This long format fills a matching sun lounger cover, whether you are replacing its old insert or creating a new cushion. If you still love your existing cover, replacing only the inside lets you keep its colour, pattern and connection to the rest of your patio.

Before choosing, measure the empty cover laid flat, from seam to seam. Check its shape too: a straight cover, rounded corners and separate stitched compartments do not accommodate volume in the same way. The opening should give you enough access to fit the insert without forcing it. Comparing these details helps you keep a favourite cover in use.

A discreet outer with volume beneath your fabric

The white microfibre outer contains polyester filling. It sits beneath your decorative cover: the cover supplies the colour and style, while MALO adds volume. You can choose the visible textile separately from the inside of your cushion.

For a made-to-measure project, start with the 70 x 190 cm format and plan an opening that makes fitting straightforward. Try the insert inside before completing the seams so you can adjust the cut and fastening. With an existing cover, check that the corners and any internal seams allow the filling to spread without tightly compressed areas. A little preparation makes the finished cushion easier to dress.

Fit MALO without pulling on the fastening

Open the cover fully and position the end furthest from the opening first. Guide the corners into place by hand, then gradually work in the rest of the insert. Once the edges are positioned, smooth the surface with your palms before closing. If the fabric pulls strongly, readjust the inside instead of forcing the fastening.

Your questions before the next sunny break

Is a decorative cover included? No. You receive the MALO insert only. Choose a compatible cover separately; the sun lounger is not included.

Can I use it without a cover? MALO is intended to be covered. The cover dresses the insert and provides the surface you sit or lie against.

How should I look after it? Follow the insert’s label and the cover’s label for their respective care. After a day outdoors, store the cushion somewhere dry. Mamimosa’s tip: separate the two parts if they become damp and let both dry completely before putting them together again. A small habit that prepares your next pause in the sun.
