LÉANE, the cushion that sets the mood
When furniture is simple, an expressive print can make the difference. The LÉANE multicoloured outdoor cushion cover displays a large botanical pattern with generous shapes. Warm accents, greens and deeper shades create a design that stands out even on a single chair.
At Anna & Moi, we see it as a starting point for a garden sitting area with personality. Place it on a pale sofa, keep the table simple and let the print begin the story. You can build the rest of your colour palette from this cushion rather than trying to match every element from the beginning.
Pick one colour and carry it through the setting
For a gentle composition, repeat a pinkish shade from the pattern in a plain textile and add cream. For a greener atmosphere, choose a quiet green alongside wood. An ochre accent in a small accessory can also warm dark metal furniture.
Because the print is large, give it space. One LÉANE cushion between two plain ones has more presence than several patterns pressed together. If you enjoy mixing designs, a small check offers a useful contrast in scale. Keep one colour in common so the arrangement remains coherent. Interest comes from the relationship between the pieces, not from adding more accessories. A clear patch of seat beside them lets the furniture contribute too.
Three sizes to control the pattern’s presence
The 45 x 45 cm square makes a graphic accent in an armchair. In 40 x 60 cm, the design follows a longer line, attractive in the middle of a bench or in front of a large plain square. The 60 x 60 cm version gives the print a broader presence on a deep sofa.
Choose for the furniture and for how prominent you want the pattern to be. One rectangle can be enough on a small seat. On a larger sofa, place a square at one end and echo one of its colours at the other. Use an insert of matching dimensions to keep the outline neat and the decorative flange visible.
Outdoor fabric with a neatly framed edge
LÉANE is made from 100% polyester with a polyurethane coating, at 200 g/m². Its water-repellent fabric and UV resistance suit time spent on the patio. A zipped opening makes the cover easy to remove, while a 1 cm flat flange outlines the cushion without adding bulk to the pattern.
The cover is sold on its own. Fill it with a MALO cushion insert in the matching size. Guide the far corners into place first, distribute the volume and close without forcing the zip. This gives the print an evenly shaped surface and lets its details remain visible.
Simple care with a few good habits
How should I wash the cover? Remove the insert and wash at 30°C to care for the coating. Air-dry; do not tumble-dry or iron.
Can it stay outside in rain? The fabric is water-repellent, not waterproof. Bring the complete cushion somewhere dry after use.
Can I use it indoors? Yes. Its large pattern becomes a colourful focal point on an understated sofa. Mamimosa’s tip: before storing, wait until both the cover and filling are completely dry. Keep them ready for your next change of setting.
