A window that sets the room’s mood
The conservatory is ready for an afternoon snack, a few plants sit by the glass and a panel of colour frames the window. The KALA cotton curtain connects that view with the room around it. Its plain fabric makes an impression through your chosen shade and the folds you arrange, without adding another pattern.
The 185 g/m² cotton has a light-filtering role. Choose it to dress the window and soften the light, with the atmosphere of your room in mind.
140 × 260 cm: measure the fabric and allow for folds
The dimensions describe one panel, 140 cm wide when flat and 260 cm in total height. The visible width reduces as you form folds, so allow extra fabric for a relaxed arrangement rather than stretching the panel across the window.
Before ordering, measure your installation and decide where the bottom should finish. Allow for the fabric above the eyelets when assessing the height. The eight silver eyelets let you slide the panel onto a compatible pole.
A colour to echo elsewhere at home
A neutral shade can continue the wall colour, while saffron, terracotta or peacock give the window more presence. Look at nearby wood, an armchair, plants or a plain textile as a starting point.
The KALA collection lets you coordinate the curtain with seat cushions and floor textiles. Repeat one shade or create a combination, choosing each piece for its own purpose.
Care for the cotton and restore its drape
Wash at 30°C, tumble dry at a moderate temperature and iron at a medium temperature. Keep to these settings rather than assuming hotter drying would suit the fabric.
Mamimosa’s small tip: once the panel is dry, arrange its folds as you put it back on the pole. If using two panels, take a moment to align their drops before spreading them to either side.
Before choosing your KALA curtain
Does the price include a pair?
No. KALA is sold as one 140 × 260 cm curtain. Order two panels if you want a pair.
Is it for complete blackout?
KALA is light-filtering. If complete darkness is your priority in a bedroom, choose a model explicitly described as blackout.
