There’s no need to reach for the bleach bottle – our tea towel prefers to do without it. And to avoid denting its regional pride, avoid tumble drying. A good air-dry will suit it perfectly. Finally, a gentle iron at 150° will restore it to its former glory. The important thing is to look after it, just as it will look after your kitchen.
