The Christmas table: at the heart of being together

Which colour palette should you choose for Christmas?
Red and green are not the only options. An ecru base with deep green feels very natural. Burgundy adds warmth. Midnight blue and white create a more wintry mood. Rust, copper and caramel make Christmas softer and less traditional.
The best choice is often the one that extends your existing décor. If your living room is already beige and wood, there is no need to transform everything: simply add one deeper shade and a few points of light.
Mamimosa’s advice for Christmas linen
Before welcoming guests, avoid using a textile straight from its packaging for the first time on the same day. Wash or air it according to the care label, iron if needed and prepare the table or bedroom a little in advance. This avoids storage creases and gives you time to check that everything is ready.
