The pleasure of a freshly made bed
A clean duvet cover is spread across the bed, the pillows are waiting by the headboard, and it is time to put the duvet in place. BAMBOO by Toison d’Or joins this familiar routine with a white casing and medium warmth. Your bed linen sets the scene: plain for a quiet room, or patterned if you enjoy colour.
With 300 g/m² filling, this model is intended for a heated bedroom. Warmth is a personal choice, so consider your usual room temperature and how you like to sleep before choosing a duvet.
Two material blends with different roles
The casing combines 60% bamboo viscose and 40% cotton. Inside, the filling blends 50% bamboo viscose and 50% polyester. Bamboo viscose is therefore present in both parts in different proportions; this is not a duvet made entirely from bamboo.
Zigzag quilting structures the distribution of the filling, while bias binding finishes the edge. You notice these details when putting the duvet into its cover and spreading its volume across the bed.
Choose a size with your duvet cover to hand
Five sizes are offered: 140 × 200, 200 × 200, 220 × 240, 240 × 260 and 240 × 280 cm. Check your duvet cover measurements before ordering so you can choose a matching size. If replacing both pieces, measure the mattress and picture the drape at the sides, taking its depth into account.
In the BAMBOO collection, use centimetres as your guide rather than a bed-size name. The photograph is a styled setting: pillows and decorative bed linen are not included with this duvet.
Plan everyday care as well as seasonal washing
BAMBOO is washable at 40°C. Before washing a large size, check that your machine capacity suits a duvet and that the drum gives the textile room to move. For drying and the other care symbols, follow the label sewn into the product.
Mamimosa’s small tip: air the duvet regularly and gently shake it when making the bed. This helps put its volume back in place between washes, ready for your favourite cover in the evening.
