CUMIN combines a 100% cotton fleece top (200 g/m²) with a 100% cotton jersey border (120 g/m²). The top is absorbent and feels soft to the touch; the border helps secure the cover around the mattress. These are two distinct parts of the product, each with its own weight.

Please note: absorbent does not mean waterproof. CUMIN does not have a specified waterproof membrane. If protection against liquids is your priority, it’s best to choose a product designed for that purpose, such as the DUO protective fitted sheet.

The White color is available in many mattress sizes, ranging from 70 × 190 to 200 × 200 cm. The range includes widths of 80, 90, 120, 140, 160, and 180 cm, with lengths of 190 or 200 cm depending on the model. Always check the length of your mattress: 190 and 200 cm are not interchangeable.

Two specific sizes, 2 × 70 × 190 cm and 2 × 80 × 200 cm, are designed for beds with adjustable head and foot sections. Their design serves a different purpose than standard wide-width mattress protectors. Since the exact height of the mattress topper is not specified, be sure to check that it is compatible with the thickness of your mattress.

Mamimosa’s tip: Wash at up to 95 °C

According to its label, CUMIN is machine-washable at 95 °C. Tumble drying at a moderate temperature, ironing, and dry cleaning are also permitted. This allows you to regularly care for this often-overlooked but very useful piece of bedding.

Before loading your washer, Mamimosa recommends checking the available space in the drum: a mattress protector must be able to move freely during the wash cycle. After drying, lay the fleece flat and reattach the ruffle before making the bed.
