The table is set on the terrace, plates are ready and everyone is bringing one last dish before sitting down. The YUNA recycled cotton tablecloth immediately sets the mood, with lively stripes and colours that make people want to linger over a meal. Whether you are sharing lunch outdoors or setting a family table indoors, it brings a relaxed, welcoming character to everyday gatherings.
Stripes that bring life to the table
YUNA combines bands of colour with finer stripes in a textured weave that creates interest without an elaborate table setting. The lines naturally frame your plates and glasses, while simple white crockery, clear tumblers and a little greenery make the pattern stand out. In the photographs, the tablecloth dresses a meal arranged in a sunny stone courtyard. It is an inviting scene that can inspire your own lunches with friends or leisurely Sunday meals. The beauty of this style is that you do not need matching decorations in every corner: the tablecloth is already doing much of the work.
Peacock or Water Green: two different moods
Peacock features stronger blue and green stripes, creating a graphic contrast that looks lovely with pale dishes and wooden serving boards. Water Green has a much lighter ground, with delicate green lines and small warm-coloured accents. It brings a softer, brighter feel to a kitchen or dining room. Both versions share the YUNA stripe design but give the table a distinct personality. For a coordinated finishing touch, you can choose separately sold YUNA recycled cotton napkins. Mixing one plain colour into the place settings is another easy way to keep the look balanced.
100% recycled cotton, with a considered finish
The tablecloth is made from 100% recycled cotton and carries OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification. The woven fabric is pleasant to handle when you spread it across the table, straighten its edges and fold it away afterwards. The stripes and the texture are the main decorative details, so you can enjoy a colourful table without buying lots of additional accessories. Recycled cotton is a verified part of the composition; there is no need to attach unsupported figures for water savings or other environmental benefits to appreciate the material. What matters here is a useful table textile made for shared moments.
170 × 170 or 170 × 250 cm: which size should you choose?
YUNA comes in 170 × 170 cm, a square format, and 170 × 250 cm, designed for a longer rectangular table. Measure the tabletop before choosing and think about how much fabric you want to hang over each edge. For a balanced drop, subtract the width of the table from the width of the tablecloth and divide by two; repeat for the length. That gives you an approximate drop on each side. Remember to allow space for people sitting at the table, so the cloth does not interfere with their knees. Check your preferred combination of colour and size before placing the order.
Easy care after family meals
This is the uncoated fabric version of YUNA. Machine wash at 40°C, do not bleach or tumble dry, and do not dry clean. If needed, iron gently at the temperature indicated on the item’s care label. Mamimosa’s tip: shake off crumbs after the meal and deal with small spills promptly before they dry into the fabric. Then spread the tablecloth out to dry, rather than leaving it crumpled. For a different type of everyday care, take a look at the separately sold YUNA coated tablecloth.
