Two functions in a single piece of bedding
DUO combines the role of a fitted sheet with that of a waterproof mattress protector. Its protective layer is created by a polyurethane (PU) coating on the top. This provides protection against liquids without having to systematically layer an additional mattress pad and another fitted sheet. Always choose a size that fits your mattress to ensure the protection is properly positioned.
Unlike a fleece pad that is purely absorbent, DUO is accurately described as waterproof. This property relates to its fabric construction; it does not eliminate the need to quickly wipe up spilled liquids or to care for the bedding according to the care label.
The Softness of TENCEL® Lyocell in Everyday Use
The top layer is made of 100% lyocell with a PU coating, while the ruffle is made of 100% lyocell. The weight of the top layer is 130 g/m², and that of the ruffle is 100 g/m². Lyocell was chosen here for its soft feel, absorbency, and claimed thermoregulatory properties—valuable benefits for bedding where comfort matters just as much as protection.

Six sizes to choose from for a perfect fit
DUO is available in 80 × 200, 90 × 190, 120 × 190, 140 × 190, 160 × 200, and 180 × 200 cm, in White. Before making your selection, measure the width and length of your mattress. A 190-cm mattress is not the same size as a 200-cm mattress, even if their widths are identical.

Mamimosa’s tip: preserving the waterproof coating
To care for DUO, machine wash at 40°C. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron: the heat from a dryer drum or iron is not recommended in the care instructions for this mattress protector. Dry cleaning is permitted according to the care label.
Mamimosa recommends checking your washing machine’s capacity, then letting the fitted sheet air dry without using a dryer before putting it back on the mattress. Do not iron the coated side.
